• Women’s Prayer Breakfast The Women’s Prayer Breakfast is an annual event that takes place every third Saturday in March. A devotional fellowship thatbrings together women of faith to pray as our Lord commanded (1 Thessalonians 5:17).  Women and friends of Mt. Pleasant assemble for a worship experience of prayer, and preaching of God’s Word, along with a delicious breakfast. We heartily bring forth the prayer concerns of our church, families, and community collectively as one body in Christ Jesus. Prayer breakfast attendees are encouraged to celebrate and honor the special bond between all women. Celebration and gratitude for such a bond serves to renew the mind, body, and spirit.
  • Women’s Day Our annual Women’s Day event happens on the second Sunday in July.  Women’s Day is an occasion for all Women of Mt. Pleasant (WOMP) to come together in fellowship to worship and serve.  Special events are planned and scheduled, which culminates on the 2nd Sunday in July as a day of worship.  There are opportunities to serve the community and church.  A mass women’s day choir is generally assembled to sing praises to God and all Women of Mt. Pleasant are encouraged to participate in this choir which is assembled for Women’s Day worship service.
  • Church-Wide Free Market / Community Day Since 2004, Free Market/Community Day has been a fun filled interactive day with our local community. On the third Saturday in August, we gather on the MPBC lawn to show God’s love through giving.

MPBC members and community partners cheerfully provide items of every kind, for free. While the Free Market serves all, we target those who are in need, such as the homeless, transitional facilities, and anyone in the community. We have also supplied old cellular phone equipment to be refurbished for victims of domestic violence. Our Kitchen Ministry provides a light meal for all. Our Children’s Ministry provides backpacks and school supplies. We consider Free Market Day a church-wide service opportunity for all MPBC ministries. (Matthew 25:40)
