The Women of Mount Pleasant (WOMP) are a community of Spirit-filled, loving women who are maximizing their God-given potential and positively impacting the world for Christ.

To help bring women to maturity and fulfillment in Jesus Christ through a passionate pursuit of God’s will. (Ephesians 4:14-16)
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Women’s Ministry of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church is to bring women together to encourage and strengthen one another and to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. WOMP seeks to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of all women through prayer, study of God’s word, fellowship, and Christ-centered activities and service to one another.
“Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:14-16)
